Spring is HERE and it’s time to GO on an adventure!

Spring has finally arrived, it’s time to put away the winter clothes and start planning your next outdoor adventure. Whether you are in college or not, it’s time to organize a getaway: your very own Spring Break.  Here is a list of a variety places for all different tastes that will satisfy your wanderlust :

Would you like to go camping? For many, camping consists of setting up tents and sitting around campfires eating s’mores and listening to music, but what if I told you there’s a place were setting up a tent 101 isn’t needed?  Welcome to  El Cosmico, a bohemian desert-like campground in Marfa, TX where the closest main city is Midland, TX. Here, alongside a hammock grove, there is an amazing variety of accommodations such as Tepees, Tents, and Yurts. With BBQ’s at night and live music from locals you are guaranteed to let time fly by.  If you want to do some exploring during the day, you can get in touch with your artisanal side closer to the city or take a picture at the famous Prada Marfa sculpture in the middle of the road. This is perfect for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing time in a faraway place.

Other things Marfa has to offer:

Costa Rica: PURA VIDA! Right  off the shore of Puerto Viejo located in the province of Limon , you’ll be able to look deeper into an underwater world with a variety of sea life like wild tropical fish and sea turtles . Lose yourself in the beauty of  Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge or BriBri, the Stibrawpa project run by a group of women from the village of Yorkin on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, located deep within their beautiful emerald rainforest.

Located in central Mexico, near Querétaro (nearest airport) there is a small magical town by the name of San Miguel de Allende. This colonial time city named an Unesco World Heritage site 2008, is the home of many artisanal products such as hand-blown glass and and metalwork and the perfect place for art lovers as they are big on stained glass pottery and handmade jewelry. Here you will be able to see old Mexican culture through the architecture filled cobblestone streets and if you have time even go to Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, a museum dedicated to the famous couple. Paired with tacos and mezcal, who can resist to such a beautiful city with that much to offer?!
